At St. Thomas, we know that we can best care for our families, our friends, and for our world by first tending to God's work in our own lives. As we learn to pray more deeply, to understand God's world more clearly, and to discern the movement and work of God around us more surely, we can live more fully into Jesus' offer to us of a Gospel way of life. We offer both on-going and seasonal classes and groups to support us in this formation. Any and all are invited to participate. Please call the Church Office (703-442-0330) if you have any questions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On-Going Formation Opportunities:
Wednesday Morning Bible Study
11:00 am, the first and third Wednesdays of each month
(see calendar for schedule)
Every other Wednesday we gather to discuss a portion of the Bible. We are presently reading through the Gospel of Matthew. The goal of the group is to learn to hear each passage more clearly by having a better sense of how it fits into the Gospel as a whole. In learning to hear the Bible more clearly, we also hope to find how it might speak to our lives. Although this is an on-going group, you are invited to come at any time. We are happy to help you jump into the story. Led by Stephen Edmondson |
